It couldn't have happened
To a better man
It couldn't have been any
Different than it was

And you're wrapped in my memory like chains
For I say that the flowers will always be there in my heart
Like an old fashioned movie with all of you playing the parts

Wonder if I'll never
Be so unafraid
To walk to the river
And turn around again

And you're wrapped in my memory like chains
For I say that the flowers will always be there in my heart
Like an old fashioned movie and I'll never forget your part
I'll never forget your part

Stand up on that stage
And tell us what you've been feeling
Before you started to fade
You gave me something to believe in
And that the best thing
That anyone can give

And you're wrapped in my memory like chains
(Yeah, you're only a memory now)
(Yeah, you're only a memory now)
And you're wrapped in my memory like chains
(Yeah, you're only a memory now)
(You're only a memory now)

And I can't wait until we see each other again
I can't wait until we see each other again
I can't wait until we see each other again

And you're wrapped in my memory like gold

My Opinion@marsy.... don’t won’t to bicker about this... Shawn played this again in 2018 in the UK and told us it was a song for Andy... only commenting what comes from the mouth of a genius!
Conversation with him about it after gig as well confirmed this, we had a great conversation about Andy Wood.... so sad he is no longer with us....
