This morning mama hooked me up with hotcakes, buttertoast, and jam
made me say "Damn, mama, what a lucky man I am! Mama, can we hook up again?"
That evening the cat was in the window, the sun was barely settin' on the barn
You made me lazy no harm could ever come to me
Could't get out of bed or your arms
That night we had to find the places that would serve us some cervesas
So we took 'em to a Mexican bar
We kept it rollin' although barely able we danced on the table 'till dawn
My microflora
quiero uno beso a la vida buena (x3)
made me say "Damn, mama, what a lucky man I am!

The second stanza is really difficult, and makes almost no sense as it is.
The faux Spanish at the end is equally hard to understand.
Made me say "Damn, what a lucky man I am"
Mama can we hook up again
That evening the cat was in the window, the sun was barely settin' on the barn
You made me lazy no harm could ever come to me
Could't get out of bed or your arms
That night we had to find the places that would serve us some cervesas
So we took 'em to a Mexican bar
We kept it rollin' although barely able we danced on the table 'till dawn
My microflora
quiero uno beso a la vida buena (x3)
Made me say "Damn, what a lucky man I am"
Mama can we hook up again
That evening the cat was in the window, the sun was barely settin' on the barn
You made me lazy no harm could ever come to me
Could't get out of bed or your arms
That night we had to find the places that would serve us some cervesas
So we took 'em to a Mexican bar
We kept it rollin' although barely able we danced on the table 'till dawn
My microflora
quiero uno beso a la vida buena (x3)
A rough translation for quiero uno beso a la vida buena is:
I want a kiss from the beautiful life.
Or
I want to kiss the good life.
Or, perhaps more creatively, I want to enjoy life to its fullest.
A micro-brewed beer?
Or, as the dictionary suggests, a microscopic plant life?
Or "my little flower"? Perhaps a nickname for his 'mama' ?
Microflora is the beneficial bacteria and such that live in your intestinal tract and help digest your food.
The idea behind the spanish part was supposed to be "My Micro Flora (My little Flower), Quiero uno beso a la vida buena (I wanna kiss and the good life) - course I'm not spanish and it's not exactly correct, but again it was our interpretation of the words. A personal inside joke between two girls, a cat, some beer and me!
