"Ohio Is for Lovers" as written by Eron Bucciarelli-tieger, Micah Carli, James Ii Woodruff, Matthew Ridenour and Casey Calvert....
Hey there,
I know it's hard to feel like I don't care at all.
Where you are and how you feel.
Put these lights off as these wheels
Keep rolling on and on. (and on and on and on...)
Slow things down or speed them up.
Not enough or way too much. (and on and on and on...)
Are you and I gone?

And I can't make it on my own.
(And I can't make it on my own.)
Because my heart is in Ohio.
So cut my wrists and black my eyes.
(Cut my wrists and black my eyes)
So I can fall asleep tonight, or die.
Because you kill me.
You know you do, you kill me well.
You like it too, and I can tell.
You never stop until my final breath is gone.

Spare me just three last words.
"I love you" is all she heard.
I'll wait for you, but I can't wait forever.

General CommentDude, this song is great. It's phat like whoa. Seriously, though, great song. They have excellent harmony and really know how to put a song together.

General CommentOk, just to clear everything up, this is what JT says in the cd booklet. "First of all, "Cut my wrists and black my eyes," is a figure of speech. Hawthorne Heights is strongly against suicide in any form. During the recording sessions, I remember everyone arguing with their girlfriends. This rarely happens. It must have been a full moon or something, but serioiusly each one of our girlfriends were mad at the same thing. We weren't in Ohio (and we weren't going to be for a long time). We were working 15 hours a day on our album and we all just wanted to sleep. I wrote the lyrics to this song solely in tribute to our girlfriends. I knew we were going to be putting them through a lot in the next year, so this is my get out of jail free card. There is no mistaking it. This song is about our girlfriends, who live in Ohio."

General CommentI think that this song is about a guy who broke up with a girl, and she is messing with him, and its killing him, because he doesnt want to feel for her, yet he still does. and she enjoy's making him feel bad by messing with him. I dunno, just my oppinion.
