Unlike most Presidents of the USA songs - which are just simple meanings with nothing too deep with nothing to relate to,(which still absolutly rock) I can really relate to this song, my mum doesn't think im a good drummer and she doesn't want me to spend much on them because I haven't had lesssons, though I'm the best in my year and I'm in love with drums - and I just want to prove to her that I'm good 'at the big rock show' - whenever that is. I was just playing drums to this song and it just made me understand how I relate to it so much. It is truly a beautiful sing, i'm not sure exactly what a tiger bomb is? Anybody care to enlighten me?
Sometime after hearing this song, my friend showed me a herbal analgesic called Tiger Balm. This may be a reference to that; i'm inclined to think so because of the "soothing vapor" line.

He falls for the drummer of a band, perhaps for her adventurousness or open-mindedness, plus she isn't bad on the eyes. He ends up snagging her: Maybe it's behind her wild eyes/Now I know why-y-y. But then he finds out that she wants to be independent and is smart (in some way) and he wants the best for her, he is going the "opposite direction." Tiger Bomb is a sorta pet name, maybe a stage name. All I could find on Tiger Bomb is that it is a modified power bomb, a wrestling move.
A “tiger bomb” is literally falling for a female band member. Also the nickname given to those tiger bombs that walk the line between being easy going and completely crazy. Prob Chris just fell in love with a drummer and then the show ended and they never talked. Then he went home and wrote this.
