"Push" as written by and Robert James Smith....
Every time I look at you, the world just melts away
All my troubles, all my fears, dissolve in your affection
You've seen me at my weakest, but you take me as I am
And when I fall, you offer me a softer place to land

You stay the course, you hold the line, you keep it all together
You're the one true thing I know I can believe in
You're all the things that I desire, you save me, you complete me
You're the one true thing I know I can believe

I get mad so easy but you give me room to breathe
No matter what I say or do 'cause you're too good to fight about it
Even when I have to push, just to see how far you'll go
You won't stoop down to battle but you never turn to go

You stay the course, you hold the line, you keep it all together
You're the one true thing I know I can believe in
You're all the things that I desire, you save me, you complete me
You're the one true thing I know I can believe

Your love is just the antidote when nothing else can cure me
There are times I cant decide when I can't tell up from down
You make me feel less crazy when otherwise I'd drown
But you pick me up and brush me off and tell me I'm okay
Sometimes that's just what we need to get us through the day

You stay the course, you hold the line, you keep it all together
You're the one true thing I know I can believe in
You're all the things that I desire, you save me, you complete me
You're the one true thing I know I can believe

You stay the course, you hold the line, you keep it all together
You're the one true thing I know I can believe in

General CommentWhat a love song, it's so powerful.
"You've seen me at my weakest but you take me as I am...
And when I fall you offer me a softer place to land."
    - That is how I feel about my best friend who was there for me through depression, and tried to help me anyway he possibly could.
"I get mad so easy, but you give me room to breathe.
No matter what I say or do, 'cause you're too good to fight about it ."
    - That line is so true for me, because through depression I would cry and be so upset and yell for no reason, and he would take it all for me, and never leave me.

General CommentThis song of hers, is one of the most special to me. it has great meaning for me and my husband. when we were just dating, i was under a lot of stress and sometimes i would get really emotional, but he helped me through, he is everything to me. I think this song can really have meaning for everyone, especially when we all think back to times when we were the hardest on the ones we love, but they are always there with love and a listening ear.

General CommentThese are the wrong lyrics for the song "Push." These are the lyrics for "I Will Remember." I just submitted a correction to the lyrics.
