when i listen to it i think its a song about drug addiction. he uses drugs as a medication to heal his pain form the real world but then it shows how it hurts him even more. but that's just my opinion.
I agree, when i typed my message before, i thought about it and that was what i thought it would be about. Using drugs and doesn't care if the drugs will harm his body or not.
this song is obviously about drug addiction. "Stop this high --- I wouldn't dare" "I've got to medicate myself, I'm not concerned about my health" no doubt about drugs.

This song has the most blatant reference to drugs that I have ever heard. Just about every line refers to drug use.
Wow, is the only thing I could say while listening to this song. I've never been an incredibly happy person, but my freshman and sophomore years of high school were particularily bad. People died, family and girl problems, stress, etc.
I used alcohol and pot as a means of escape for far too long.

you people dont know what real sickness is.... i often lie in bed and wonder why i feel no love, no pain, no anger. and all the people who "love" me tell me i need help. that i should be medicated. i too am growing cold inside. "sickness is mine" and i wont let anyone or anything get in the way of my "emotion" no medication, no "happy pills". i wont bow before them and allow them to control me with theire attempts to make me a "normal person" the normal will be allowed to follow, but the insane shall lead.
