Hallelujah Lyrics
I'm sick and tired of watching over you.
Never knowing what you're gonna do.
Every step you take is closer and closer to falling far away.
What's It gonna take, what's It take to make you see.
If It all came down tonight.
Safe from the losing fight.
Just know I only want to hear you say...
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
He's alive in me today.
Everyday you search for something new.
You turn your back on things that make you choose.
And everytime you do, you're closer and closer to falling far away.
What's It gonna take, what's It take to make you see...
If It all came down tonight.
Safe from the losing fight.
Just know I only want to hear you say...
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
He's alive in me today.
Never knowing what you're gonna do.
Every step you take is closer and closer to falling far away.
What's It gonna take, what's It take to make you see.
Safe from the losing fight.
Just know I only want to hear you say...
He's alive in me today.
You turn your back on things that make you choose.
And everytime you do, you're closer and closer to falling far away.
What's It gonna take, what's It take to make you see...
Safe from the losing fight.
Just know I only want to hear you say...
He's alive in me today.

This is a song from God's perspective... and the line: "I'm sick and tired of watching over you. Never knowing what you're gonna do." helps to show how God should treat us, emphasizing just how unreal his grace is... it's a lot deepr than i originally thought

I like what umedmasa is saying...but I have to agree with the part about God's perspective...he always knows what we're going to do and he'll never be sick of watching over us...what makes me agree is how you would think God should feel like that but I'm certain that he doesn't...

originally i thought this song was about a christian friend wanting his athiest friend to find Jesus. it makes sense. but i do agree with this being from God's perspective.
