New Year's Eve Lyrics
The music's loud
In your room,
Turn it down.
There's a neighbor who can't take it anymore.
I'll take your hand,
In another
One night stand
There's a lot for us to figure out.
So, this is how it ends.
Oh, like the door behind you then,
Let me down easy.
The music's loud
In your room,
Turn it down.
But the more we talk,
The less we understand.
In your room,
Turn it down.
There's a neighbor who can't take it anymore.
In another
One night stand
There's a lot for us to figure out.
Oh, like the door behind you then,
Let me down easy.
In your room,
Turn it down.
But the more we talk,
The less we understand.

This is another great song on a great album. The whole album tells the story of a rocky love affair. Each song takes the listener through each phase of the break-up, the uncertainties in between, and then the restoration. Great stuff. It takes a couple of listens before you get the 'aha' moment though.

Damn cute song! Love that Piano riff! Favourite part is when the drums kick in. It seems its about another failed relationship thats just about sex than romance. Poor Hamilton!
