Apologies to Insect Life Lyrics
Oh Fyodor you are the most attractive man I know,
Your Russian heart is strong and has been bleeding for too long
It's getting nasty, she knows
Bores-I-would-like-to-give-you-more-molasses
It's getting nasty, she knows
What I did was not very nice
A little piece of everyone
Is bad and can't be jettisoned
Sometimes you know it goes right through
My love

Ok, gotta say that on a meanings level this song isn't at the top of my list. But I love it! And no one's posted!

Apparently something to do with Dostoyevsky's novel Notes From Underground, which makes sense because there are passages about insects and there being a bad part of everyone.
@saveourcity also slight connection - the first words to the book are "I am a sick man.... I am a spiteful man. I am an unattractive man"

Fantastic song.
The last part of the song, which isn't included on here due to the lyrics being incomprehensible, goes like this;
Apologies to insect life What I did was not very nice A little piece of everyone Is bad and can't be jettisoned And round from her from me to you Sometimes you know it goes right through My love

The Dostoyevsky reference is also given away by the fact that he is probably the only famous Fyodor.

Influenced by the Pixies?
