You'll work it out this time
Hell no, I won't retreat
Two times won't make it happen
Three times won't make it go
Overcome, make it run
I insist to make it flow
You won't be blind this time
Getting back what they have burned
Two times won't make it happen
Three times won't mage it go
Overload, still it grows
I resist and make it flow
Trusting the ways of my vulnerable heart
A million times before I get things right.
So fragile it hurts when I just fall apart.
Your search for dreams may falter
Paying back won't make it turn
Four times won't make it happen
Five times won't make it go
Overrule, from a tool
that brings me everlasting pain
In search for shelter I draw the lines
Won't you give me another break to examine
my growing and countless mistakes

damn..it ate the rest of my comment ...here I go again..
I think this song is about endurance. The "disease" is probably symbolic for the person's drive/motivation/ambition/power/will/determination to succeed, when they "overload" they spread the "disease" throughout their system. So in otherwords in times of difficulty, the person keeps soldiering on and endures whatever life throws at them. No matter how many times they may fail at their attempt to succeed, they "overload" their system with determination and energy to try again, taking in mind not to repeat the mistakes of yesterday. I also think the numerous failed attempts have left scars on his heart and all this pain has "overloaded" their system, leaving them overwhelmed with a driving force to succeed.
It's def. about not giving up...life either kicks you in the ass or hands you a free beer. Personally, I hope I get my beer soon. lol.
@DreamersDisease very good interpretation ... nothing I can add :)

For me, this song is about not giving up no matter what and how many times you have failed.

This song is basically about the faults of the world, and how there are so many things to love in this world however there are also so many evil things that no one will ever forget. It is also about the effects of a relationship, and how no matter how many chances you can give someone you can keep making the same mistake over and over again. This song is about how fate is inexistent but everything happens for a reason. You are the people you are, and no matter how many mistakes you make in your life. You will always learn from them. The innocence of pleading guilty that you are wrong in what you have done.

This song is about trying a sensitive person (hence the "vulnerable heart" and "so fragile it hurts") trying not to give up and feeling the bitter taste of failure "a million times."

another awesome soilwork song
i think this song is about relationships, never being able to find the right person...always making mistakes, but you cant stop, dont give up, even after a million tries

aaaaaaaaaaargh, this song kicks ass
love it love it like a son.
dont know wat it means, and i dont really think its that important because i think the main feature of thsi song is the music, not the lyrics, and thats wat i really love about Soilwork.
alot of other bands want people to hear what they can sing and write, but soilwork jsut keep cranking out kickass tunes and THAT is why they are so damn awesome!!
