Slow Motion

i feel like this sometimes. everything slows down and focus comes with it. and with that focus you can readily decide who you want to be with (hey c'mon over). or they are high as mf'ers and are just describing how that makes them feel. some many possible meanings in most of the lips songs. all seemingly thrown together on a whim but so deep at the same time. you can listen to them in so many different ways and in so many different moods and keep getting more and more out of each song.

Wow can't believe there aren't more comments on this song. A wonderful drift-away, and has prolly my fav lips line: "I'm feeling like a float in a Macy's Day parade". Agree completely with imightloseit that the meanings can be interpreted differently with each mood.

Definitely think it's "You know that time is going slower", not "You know the day is going slower". Definitely, definitely yeah.

For me, this song is about things that you want to do and achieve taking longer than your plans, and using friendship to encourage you along on the journey. it's about frustrations of our own limits, and the sense that you're not going anywhere... but don't lose touch with the folks who are near you. don't let yourself be discouraged. keep it together with others.

i often feel like the world is in slow motion. i looove driving to this song and smiling at the universe, for its so vast and mysterious! i heard this for the first time while traveling in Africa, surfing the most beautiful, perfect waves in my life. it had been my dream to go to this place, and ever since, i've been living my life in slooooooooooow mooootion.

It's about being high. Whenever you're really high everything seems like slow motion.
