Oh, what a year to be here
On this little rock, third from the sun
And we need some mercy

Lighting a way from south to north
Voices raised under old starry host
A flame for change grows

These burning
These burning ashes in my mouth
Heaven, help us
Out of this never-ending spell
Our better angels
I see, see me

One way out, only one way
Out of this
Unfreeze those wings that you treat
In your chrysalis

Blazing east to the west
Watched by his light to give us hope
A flame for change grows

These burning
These burning ashes in my mouth
Heaven, help us
Heaven, help us, help us
Save us
Our better angels
I see, see me

One way out, only one way
Out of this
Unfreeze those wings that you treat
In your chrysalis

Better angels
Dream veil, it's east

General CommentI think she's talking about ore than troops...everyone in the US who went along with it. People were VERY pro-war to begin with. It couldn't have happened without public support. And also, all the politicians...I'm sure ole Hilary regrets her decision to get trapped, since it cost her a nomination... and many others.
