Paris, Texas Lyrics
I drifted around knowing
And I drifted around knowing
Got the nerve got the feel that we're going to die
Ever learn ever feel that you're going to die
Ever learn got to feel that we're going to die
We're all going to die
Got to learn how to feel when you're going to die
Got to learn ever feel how you're going to
Got to learn how to feel when you're going to die
Got to learn how to feel
I drifted around knowing
I drifted around
We're all going to die
The ryhthm in the riddle
Put the pedal to the metal
Is the middle of the puzzle
Put the pedal to the metal
Is the rhythm of the riddle
And I drifted around knowing
Ever learn ever feel that you're going to die
Ever learn got to feel that we're going to die
Got to learn ever feel how you're going to
Got to learn how to feel when you're going to die
Got to learn how to feel
I drifted around
Put the pedal to the metal
Put the pedal to the metal
Is the rhythm of the riddle

Anyone know the relativity between this song and the movie of the same name? I've been meaning to watch it, but I don't know much about it, but if it's got to do with the song, I'll probably make the time.
hmm ive never heard of the movie.. what makes you think they're connected? if its political or "out there" there's a good chance it is..
The song's title has is actually "Paris, Texas".
Has a read of the Paris, Texas movie review of Wikipedia doesn't seem to have any link to the song, but so name the song the exact same as the movie seems to suggest there is some connection.
Remember seeing them at Metal for the Brain and playing this song. If memory serves me correctly this song is about the inevitable (death).
Oh yeah ... this is one of my favourite Cog songs.
