(Wow!)

I'm just so ecstatic but nervous at same time
Never had the comfort of my father growing up but still I'll never run

(Still I never run)

Broken home, that's what I come from
Father passed away and mother Lost her way
Those nights I cried for days

(Cried for days)

Yearning for that love from my mom and dad
I don't want to wait
This love I want it fast

(Want it fast)

Man I got it bad, Usher type of feel, this fallacy a fad
Searching, rushing for that fam I never had
Unaware that fake love could never last

(Never Last)

Tried to break the cycle but still ain't get it right
Thinking if I treat her like a queen, one day she'll be my wife

(Be my wife)

Too much disrespect, had to take a test
Wasn't at the hospital for your birth so you know what's next

(Know what's next)

Child support, accusations, and custody battles
Want to keep from my son,
Lady, tell me, why you're so hollow?

(Hollow)

Had to learn to swim deep
Almost drowned but made it out the shallow
Swimming with the sharks
"Art Of War"
Greater good is how I learned to battle

(Battle)

You're the "Prince," I'm the "King"
Dynamic duo, Batman, Robbin Scene
Only missing our Queen
Baby boy or girl then we set
That dream team

(Set that dream team)

Speaking from the heart
Also got some bars but really want to give you truth

(Want to give you truth)

Faced the perfect storm, face my fears
Somehow I found my way and made it through

(Made It through)

Letter to my son
(Letter to my son)

Letter to my son
(Letter to my son)

You're my number one
(You're my number one)

Man I love you son
(Man I love you son)

Letter for my son
(Letter for my son)

Letter for my son
(Letter for my son)

You're my number one
(You're my number one)

Man I love you son
(Man I love you son)

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)!

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)

Reflecting bout those nights that I would sit in hurt
I would sit in pain, my body feeling drained

Going trough those times, at night I sat and cried
All these question why?
Thoughts of suicide!

Now you by my side, just put away my pride
I want to see you thrive, together we can will rise

Take you all the places my father couldn't take me
And make you all the meals my father couldn't make me

Don't want to see you hurt
Just want to see you grow
Educate on the truth so you will always know

I had to learn the difference
A foolish heart and heart of gold
Even when I felt the "Pressure"
Like PAC, I didn't fold

Finally moving forward
Got to live according
Found my way around that brick wall Just like Michael Jordan

Everything I've lost, still I'm never sinking
On the other side, trial and error, standing tall like Abraham Lincoln

Anytime you need me
Just know I got your back

I'll be there double time
This much more than some rhymes

Take you all the places my father couldn't take me
And love you unconditional the way my father would
This life will be amazing!

Letter to my son
(Letter to my son)

Letter to my son

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
I ain't never letting go

(I ain't never letting go)
Never, never letting go
(Never, never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
(Now I got you by my side)

I ain't never letting go
(I ain't never letting go)

Never, never letting go
(Never never letting go)

Now I got you by my side

I ain't never letting go
(I ain't never letting go)

Never, never letting go
(Never, never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
(Now I got you by my side)

I ain't never letting go
(I ain't never letting go)

Never, never letting go
(Never, never letting go)

Now I got you by my side
(Now I got you by my side)

I ain't never letting go
(I ain't never letting go)

(Go!)
(Go!)
(Go!)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
