Don't Dwell Lyrics
You look so sad to me tell how could that be?
Ah- ah she said things I obsess
I would never confess
That will leave you in hell
You should be adored for
But like I told her don’t dwell
But are you glad I made it
Can you tell me that much
Ah-ah why are you surprised
I don’t take my advice
That will leave you in hell
Regret is so blinding
But like I told me don’t dwell
Go ahead raise your voice
Might as well forgive your self
That means more than someone else
Set you free break the shell
To your demons farewell
(Ooh na na na na) I tell you don’t dwell

This is definatley my favorite on this album. Not too sure what it means, I'm not good at figuring out the meaning of songs, thats why I rely on you guys. :) But this is deinfatley a great song.

this song basically is another way of 311 saying what they usually do-->"fuck the naysayers!!!"....leave the critics behind, dont wait for apologees, and leave the drama behind

I think this song means just what the title implies. Don't dwell on past experiences. What's done is done, move on and enjoy your life. You need to forgive yourself for the mistakes you've made.

I agree with Deathwaffle. about moving on and all that good stuff. I do love this song its awesome!

As Deathwaffle said, there really isn't a question about what this song means.

this song is pop at its finest. simple, catchy, and has a good message behind it. i like it alot. if it wasnt for the love song, this would have probably been the 3rd single off evolver.

This song is about not feeling guilty about what you could have or should have done. Especially with a lost loved one. If you lost someone that passed away, they know how you really feel about them even if you had a recent fight. Dont Dwell.

it's not that hard to understand. this song means exactly what it says. "don't dwell" meaning, lagging around in your past experiences, good or bad, doesn't get you anywhere in life. just go with it and don't let anyone affect how you feel about you or what/who you care about. only you need to appreciate you and you don't need anyone else's consent. if you can't do that, you're in for a miserable ride, "that will leave you in hell". how can that be your favorite song if you don't know what it means?

to your demons farewell
everything is a choice go ahead raise your voice
