Unorthodox Manifesto Lyrics
Have begun to lurk in the distance
Like visual objects dearly known
The grace of devils hands
When I choose and require a burn-out
Resting in expanded malicious force
Drained for murderous weapons
In the magnitude of this thought
Looking at the spirit of fire and flames
Enduring on the throne of the black heart
And therefore also a carrier of light
As I use this focus through the dark
And face the sunshine in the dead end
When you are ahead of the crowd
With the art of confidence
I reign at the throne of my soul
Travelling the other path
A hidden triumph
But obvious to the strong and wise
I remain in a twice-coloured cloud
With feet connected solid in the ground
And thus I get peace of mind
And also a carrier of light
As I use this focus through the dark
And face the sunshine in the dead end

the title of the song explains most of their songs...they quote themselves that this is religious music. they're promoting satanism in this one.

Incase u guys were wondering. i have a burning passion for grated cheese. and to answer your question, yes i do have a garden growing in my back yard

Yeah satansim definetly, LaVeyan one... Great into, amazing riffs...

Hey, you forgot "Hail Satan, Hail Satan" in the beginning. Then "Gentlemen.... DESTROY!".
Great song.

This is really... interesting. Or what we could call it:
"A bringer of evil I am And also a carrier of light As I use this focus through the dark And face the sunshine in the dead end "

This song has some of the best guitar riffs and solos ive heard in a long time, great song

Amazing song. It's kind of disturbing to think that some of the music that best pulls me in to it emotionally is the most unholy shit I've ever heard haha. Seriously, this makes me feel evil just listening to it, and the solo... holy god, it just feels like it seeps in to whatever form of soul I might have. Good shit.

By far my favorite Dimmu Borgir song.

This song evokes WWII, in the music. The drums is reminiscent of heavy gunnery, guitar dive bomb effect obviously evoke dive bombs, plus some riffs (at 6 min for example) clearly mark the firing of artillery, followed by the impact of the shell ("boom - djaaaaaaa!").
I find this quite brilliant, nothing evokes me war more than this song.
