Regret (New Order cover) Lyrics
the name and the address
of everyone i've every know
it's nothin i regret
save it for another day
it's cool except
the kids have run away
have a conversation on the telephone
wake up everyday that would be a start
I would not complain of my wounded heart
you used to be a stranger
now you are mine
i've not got much to give
we're dealing in the limits
and we don't know who with
you might think i'm out of head
that i'm naive i'll understand
on this occasion it's not true
look at me i'm not you
have a conversation on the telephone
wake up everyday that would be a start
I would not complain of my wounded heart
you were a complete stranger
now you are mine
have a conversation on the telephone
wake up everyday that would be a start
I would not complain of my wounded heart
i geuss that's what they all say
just before they fall apart

this is the get up kids not ratfe

it IS the Get Up Kids, it's from their Eudora album. James = keyboardist/singer for Get Up Kids. He sings the song, just as he sings other songs in the GUK.

AHHH, you're all wrong. This IS a Get Up Kids song, but it's actually a cover. It's originally a New Order song. James is in the Get Up Kids, but simply as a keyboardist. He may do some back up singing here and there, but the lead singer is Matt Pryor. Again however, it's the GUK's bassist Rob Pope who is in fact singing this song, and he is the singer in several other GUK songs including "Beer for Breakfast" (also off Eudora) "Campfire Kansas" and more.

Actually, I think i've read before in the notes for Eudora that this is the only song James has sung lead on for The Get Up Kids.
