The question is why, why are we here?
To say our hello's and goodbye's and then disappear
This beautiful life, what is it for?
To learn how to master peace or master war

There's only one answer that matters
Even if your heart has been shattered
Whatever you want, whatever you are after
Love is still the answer
Love is still the answer

Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love

We all make mistakes, no, we're not perfect yet
Maybe God made us all from an accident
And the question that sits on everyone's lips
Is why should we pick ourselves up and start over again

There's only one answer that matters
Even if your heart has been shattered
Whatever you want, whatever you are after
Love is still the answer
Love is still the answer

Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love

The question I'll ask at the end of my days
Is what did I give and what will I take

There's only one answer that matters
Even if your heart and your dreams have been shattered
Whatever you want, whatever you are after
Love is still the answer
Love is still the answer

Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love
Love, love, love, love
Love, love, love, love
Love is still the answer

General CommentJust to clarify, this song is a cover of Bright Eyes' "Kathy With A K's Song." To be honest, I like this version ten times better than the Bright Eyes version, though.

General CommentTo me the song means, true love at its best. The song is about being completely and utterly in love when nothing else matters. Only problem is it is in fact a bright eyes song, and Jason Mraz shouldnt have taken a song from bright eyes especially one this personal, and changed the name of it, and ruined it. People say conors singing ruins it. Well I'm sorry to break it to you but everything about Jason's version is wrong.

General CommentAdam with an A, haven't you ever used a song to epitomize the way you felt about someone? And then explain how the song specifically relates to your own situation? I don't know of many people who haven't, and Mr. Mraz is no exception. He was just expanding on an already good idea. I'm with BlueAndStarry... I'm lovin' this version of the song.

General CommentI personally think this verison of Bright Eye's "Kathy with a K's Song" is better. I know it is hard to match the true feeling for a song that you didn't write, but Jason's voice carries this song with a smoother and softer sound, which I prefer. And the way he sings smile in one of the last lines is incredible.

General CommentI'm with Adam. This is not American Idol and you don't get praise by performing it "better." This is about song meanings and this is Conor's song, conjured up by his emotions and his words. I've posted my thoughts on it where it should be.

General CommentYeah, it's not really "adapted" by Jason, because it's the same exact song. It's a cover.

And the original version is so much better. It's sung with more passion and it's just so honest. Listening to this version just bores me.

General CommentIts funny, cause i didn't know this song was a cover till right now, but i could tell there was something different about it. Mraz is definitly a romantic, but his love songs are usually a lot more clever and less sappy.

Still a cool song though, if you like that kind of thing.

General Commenthow can you say jason mraz is clever? conor's emotion and the quivering of a voice that is on the edge of sorrow blow away any wannabe's version anyday.
