(Yeah)
Whats up, man?
Reborn
Representing Christ
You already know
You know, judgment starts in the house of the lord
It doesn't start in the hood or the block
It starts in the church, we got to get right
Judgment is coming (Yeah)
"These People, honor me with their lips
But their heart is far from Me"
"These People, honor me with their lips
But their heart is far from Me" - ohh
All i hear is people saying "I already know him!"
"And if God is with me, who can be against me?"
But they don't even know the word
(You gotta get in that word man, come on Rise Up!)
To be a friend to the world, is to be an enemy to God
What You forgot?
Got to get on your knees, man seek his face (Seek his face)
Jesus Christ, man he wants to take his place (That's right, take your place lord)
He wants to be the head of the church (Church)
Not yet pastor, the head of the church
No, we got to go with the five fold anointing, I know it sounds disappointing
But its the anointing that breaks the yoke
Come on pastors, you seem like a joke (No)
You got to come to the cross (Cross)
Jesus Christ, he wants to save the lost
"These People, honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me"
"These People, honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me" - ohh
Yeah, I hold this against You - You have forsaken the love You had at first
Remember the thirst, (Oh, yeah)
(Oh, yeah)
"Consider how far you've fallen
Repent and do the things you did at first (First)
If You do not repent, Ill come and remove your lamp stand" (Lamp stand)
From its place, remember your sins have been erased (Been erased)
Remember that murder was the case (Murder was the case!)
Put your head upon the father, the son, and the holy ghost
"These People, honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me"
"These People, honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me" - ohh
(Come on lord, help us lord)
(Help us get right with you Jesus)
(Because I know your coming back for that bride)
(Goes for me, and the body of Christ)
(Purify our hearts lord, we need you)
(Let our pride come down, let our unbelief come down)
(We thank You, that greater is he who lives in us, then he who lives in the world)
(These People, reach em' lord)
(Teach em' lord)

Great song, great band. Does anyone else besides me think he's singing "I'll never party with fire" towards the very end of the song?

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
