this song describes parts of A Clockwork Orange, although i doubt it was written with the movie in mind.

I think its about slowly being betrayed by some one you trust and you see it coming, but you never expect the final and most lethal blow of the backstabbing motherfucker.
I think it is about just someone who is smothering you. In this case it looks like it is intentional smothering, and this person is smothering the person becuase of somthing that happened a long time. Like its some sort of retribution and they have gotten inside the person and just slowly killing them.

I think it's about someone who is really dependant on another person, and they're "smothering" the other person, they're sick of it. So, they try to reason with the person to be a little bit more independant, but they don't want to.
i dont know why, but i always get chills listening to this song. probably my 2nd or 3rd fave song by spineshank!
