I was fading last night, lost out in the cold
Couldn't see the light then she opened up the door
I came in from the dark, fell into her arms just in time

And now I know that I have left the past behind, won't let it go

You could tell me tonight
That maybe the world would end
That the sun wouldn't rise
And it was gonna rain again
Just as long as she's in my arms
It's gonna be a perfect day

There's a look in her eyes
It makes me feel alright
It lights the perfect sky
That I couldn't see before,
That she helped me to find, now that I've seen the shine,
I know that I'll never be alone

Cause now I know that I have love I can't deny, won't let it go

Its gonna be a perfect day

I think I lost you in another life,
A part of me that I left behind
I won't go on without you
And now I know that I have put the past behind, I let it go

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

Its gonna be a perfect day

General CommentThis is one of my favorite songs. The beat is awesome, but the lyrics are AMAZING! They really touched my heart when i first heard this song. Also, Clay's voice goes so GREAT with this song. Whenever i hear this song, it's a "perfect day"! ;-)
