I had a dream I was employed at my old position
As your second string it cut me down to the quick
It hurt so badly who's to say is it possible
It felt like it was real there was no god
I could believe in
You've got terrible vision if you don't see
That I'm in love with you and how that means everything
I had a dream that you were gone it was a heart condition
Like I'd never known what my name was
You couldn't see me
You've got terrible vision if you don't see
That I'm in love with you and how that means everything
If I had known that you could leave
I would have stolen myself out
As it is I'm so in love there is no god
It was a dream that's all it was you've got to wake me up now
you've got to wake me up now
you've got to wake me up now
you've got to wake me up now
You've got terrible vision if you don't see
That I'm in love with you and how that means everything
You've got terrible vision if you don't see
That I'm in love with you and how that means everything

    My Interpretation

asleep, knowing he's spinning a nightmare, he dreams of the past again, when he and his lover weren't together. perhaps she had someone else, and he wasn't the one and only, like he is now. and even though he is now, but he still remembers that feeling, that fear, that nightmare his subconscious is still wrapped up in, of not being loved by her, of her loving someone else. and now he's wrapped up in that subconscious nightmare and he knows it's not reality. but he needs that reassurance from his lover. he needs her to say to him that all of this is just a bad dream. that there's nothing to fear. that she loves him, and only him.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.

He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
