Actually, I'm pretty sure this is about masturbation. This is his "Fantasy" based on his "synthetic ecstasy". When his "mind is frozen" by his actions, everything is "a fading memory" and he can't sense anything around him. While he is in this place everything tomporarily fades away and he can go anywhere he wan'ts to go, do anything wants. But he is here without anyone, cold and alone... Can you people get your minds outta the gutter and back into your heads? This song, if you read it well enough, is all about temptation. He (Klayton) tends to focus on the sexual aspects, because that's the main temptation in people today. In short, this song is about desire.
I'd say have a listen to it again - that last bit sounds a little different to me than what's written here - specifically,
"Take me anywhere you wanna go We're far from anything that feels like home", then: "Here I'm anyone I wanna be (It's here and now, now it's only you and me!)"
If you listen and hear that, the entire meaning of the song changes. I would say it's about him imagining still being with a lover who was driven away by a mental illness ("It's not what I was told..." a little further on suggests he's in counselling or such). And that would fit with the album's apparent theme of that.

I think this song is about friends with benefits honestly. Someone who he messed around with sexually, but then caught feelings. He must have been in love with this girl the way he speaks about her ''true love behind a wall'', or a temporary obsession cause where ''men and angels fall'' giving into lust. I think he wanted a relationship, but it did not work his way. He is also torturing himself cause he tries to keep living in this moment that has already passed. ''I can see a frozen point in time That is easy to retrace'' He is obsessing about a past event with a girl. He might just be looking at a picture or seeing visions of places they used to hangout or talk. He just wants to be frozen in that time. What exactly did Klay tell you? It's just he is a private person and i find it hard to believe that he would tell you what this song is about or ANY of them for that matter,unless it is songs that he specifically has told it's meaning about it in an interview.
