wow this band is nothing like what drive thru normally signs...but they're a nice type of different. this song kinda makes it seem like the guy has to let go of a girl and he's really upset about it, but then he realizes she has to go for her own good so he gives her some encouragement at the end "so lift your head and shine"
I'm surprised no one has commented more on this song. whenever I hear it I always see a relatively shy guy, with this adventurous girl. and the girl just wants to live out all of her dreams and live for the moment. that splits them apart, and the guy is sad that he had to let her go, but knows it's the best thing for her and wishes her luck fore verything she does.
