Its about Fat Mikes wife...Joey picked up a guitar on tour with bands from fat wreck chords. Erin's nagging about mike's drinking led to Joey picking up a guitar and pretty much telling her to shut up about it and enjoy!

It makes sense that this song is about Fat Mike's wife Erin, but I always thought this song was about ecstasy. With lines like "we can stop anytime," "can't you see that all we need is one night to release," and the fact that it's about a party, I could definitely see it both ways.
i thought the song was about ecstasy as well... him talking to a person makes sense when he says "My name is Randal, I wrote you this song" either way. i love this song!
