I agree with whoever said it had a lot to do with an ex, he still feels he is hers but she has moved on romantically and he can't stand seeing her with other men and he can't get over her.

ok i think this song is about a guy and his girlfriend being happy together but then this guy trys to mess around with her . and so the guy is telling him you better think before you touch my girl cuz if you do im gonna kick your ass and so the guy messes with the girl any way and so they two guys are gonna fight and when he says "And took the stairs but didn't stop at the street and as we speak I'm goin down " that means he took the stairs passed the street to go DOWN and fight the guy not meaning going down like losing but going down to kick the guys ass thats what i think!!! best song by them!!

This song reminds me of my ex. She left me for another guy earlier this year and lied to me about it for a week and a half. She let me think her and I were still dating, but she was really with him. Then she came back a couple weeks later. THEN less than six months later she did it again, with another guy and lied to me about it for a couple days. So this song is my anthem...and just like he says in the song, I can't let go, I can't get out...it will continue to be my anthem for as many times as she does it to me. God I love this song. It speaks exactly what my heart can't.

I think that its about this girl that he really liked and she broke up with him for maybe another guy and he is asking her does he really love her they way he does witch means he is not over her and that he cant let go of her cuz she mint so much to him and he is like jealous when he says think twice before you touch my girl and he hate it that her love is going to someone else its eating him inside and and that she does not realize that he is waiting for her and he wants to let go but its really hars and when he sees tha guy who has her he puts on that fake smile and bares with all that crap but deep inside he loves her and will be there when he does wrong .......
