I watch the sun
See it rise and fall
Waiting for something to change
I get through the day
Hope to turn things around
Seems like

I'm falling out of love

Feeling alone
With you by my side
Further and further away
Funny how long
A moment can seem
When you're trying to hold on
Feels like

I'm falling out of love

I'm falling out of love

I'm falling out of love

I'm falling out of love

"So you're in a relationship but you know in your heart it's over … The music was made from minor chords in a long meandering chain, with Aretha Franklin on my mind." - Matt Hales

I saw them live a few weeks ago, and wierdly i went with the girl i had split up the day before (we arranged it before we split up and stilll wanted to be friends etc). "Feeling alone with you by my side" - so sad. But anyway Matt said the entire album was about love, having it and not having it and how it makes you feel sick either way. He said it before this song so i thought it applied more

I'm pretty enthralled by Aqualung - have been for a long time now. But i'm beginning to become intrigued by 'massofclouds' - are you Matt Hales in disguise = P ...if not - very good subject to be knowledgeable about = )

(just put that comment on this song 'cause i'm listening to it at the moment)

I was going to quote a part of this song and mention how accurate I was, but actually, that applies to the whole thing.

Ludicrously haunting, and the way that it's not inherently a sad SOUNDING song shows the lack of emotion left in a dying relationship.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
