Love this song. Love Bouncing souls for keeping their love of making good music alive. They've gone so far, not once reaching that feeling of despair. Doing what they loved and loving it. That's good music. That's the real meaning of punk rock.
To me this song is really about loving whatever you do and how memories will always be sweet.
Bouncing Souls are an amazing band who, as the person above said, keep good music making alive in a cultured shadowed with a ton of shit in the music industry,
The Bouncing Souls named this songs "Punks in Vegas" because of a Souls show back in 2002.
They were scheduled to play at a bar called Hurricane Harry's with Alkaline Trio and Lawrence Arms. The show was supposed to be all ages but something happened and the show ended up 21+, so all the under 21 folk stayed out in front of the venue and watched the show through the front door (they didn't announce the change at all so we all went up that night expecting to see the show). The owner wouldn't all any of the bands to play sets acoustic outside the bar and called the cops on those of us waiting outside (though the cops ended up not kicking us out).
The Souls said on their website a few days later they would make it up to the fans by naming a song after us and this was it.
