that is a good analogy...babylon being any kingdom (i.e. America) where material possesions and war overtake peace and spirituality...such a civilization is bound to fail.
Sounds sort of Spanish. But Babylon was in modern day Iraq. Perhaps Jim was reffering to America slowly become more and more diseased (no offense intended).
