i'm at the end of my rope, i fashioned into a noose. god, its been such a shitty winter filled with beer tabs, bottle tops, keggers, and run-ins with the cops we made out like bandits and got caught red-handed. so i guess i wore my heart on my sleeve and i mistook your drunkeness for sincerity chalk it up to experience, fuck it up to experience. and still i clinged to it the late night phone calls and this perfect connection through bad reception (yeah right) is it hanging up or hanging out? missed trains busy signals stalling cars.

this song reminds me of all the times i went out to babylon. and all of my friends who i visit out there. something always ridiculous happens.. and it usually involves alchohol as well. even though times get shitty with us, everything turns out alright in the end.

i dont drink or smoke or anything, so i cant really relate to the beginning of the song. its so awesome when he just says the words 'so i guess i wore my heart on my sleeve, and i mistook your drunkenness for sincerity', than he just starts singing again. the end is also one of the best parts to rock out to.

despite the lyrics about it being a shitty winter, i can relate this to my summer now. really good song. there's some lyrics after the last part i can't make out...anyone have an idea what jason says?
