Let me tell you 'bout this girl, maybe I shouldn't
I met her in Philly and her name was brown sugar
See, we be making love constantly
That's why my eyes are a shade blood burgundy
The way that we kiss is unlike any other way
That I be kissin' when I'm kissin' what I'm missin'
Won't you listen?

Brown sugar babe, I gets high off your love
I don't know how to behave
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
Ooh, ooh

Oh, sugar when you're close to me
You love me right down to my knees
And whenever you let me hit it
Sweet like the honey when it comes to me (oh, whoa, whoa, whoa)
Skin is caramel with those cocoa eyes
Even got a big sister by the name of Chocolate Thai

Brown sugar babe, I gets high off your love (oh)
Don't know how to behave, yeah (oh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar, ohh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
(Oh, ayy) ooh, ooh

Oh, oh, ooh
Yo, Tail, cut me up some
Ohh
Oh no, no, ayy (ooh, ooh)
Da-da, da-da (ohh, ayy, ohh)

Now that'd be how the story goes
Brown sugar got me open, now I want some more, huh
Always down for a ménage à trois
But I think I'ma hit it solo
Hope my niggas don't mind
Stick out my tongue and I'm 'bout
Ready to hit this gritty, pretty
Bitty with persistence
Yo, I don't think ya'll hear me

Brown sugar babe, I gets high off your love
Don't know how to behave (yeah)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, yeah, yeah)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)
(I want some of your brown sugar, baby)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, ayy, oh, baby)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, yeah)
(Gimme some of your brown sugar, baby)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (ayy, said, oh yeah)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (ah, yeah, ooh, yeah, oh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (ooh, yeah, ooh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (ooh, yeah, brown sugar)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (so sweet, sweet, baby, so sweet to me, babe)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, brown sugar, yeah, oh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (that brown sugar, oh, hey, hey)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, hey, hey, hey, hey, ayy)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (brown sugar, sweet to me every night)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (every day, said, brown sugar in my cup)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (oh, brown sugar, baby, sweet as could be)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar) (give some here to me, ooh, ooh)
I want some of your brown sugar (sugar)

It's definitely about a girl with whom he has such a wonderful physical connection it's like he's getting high. Favorite line: "The way that we kiss is unlike any other way. That I be kissin' when I'm kissin' what I'm missin' " To miss her kisses while you're kissing I could only imagine. Good kisses are the basis of any good physical relationship.

Brown Sugar babe I gets high off your love I don't know how to behave

He's just reminiscing about his experience with her and how he couldn't stop wanting her even if he tried.

Some people you'll never forget the way they made/make you feel.

i think it is about smoking weed and a girl, one he can't have for some reason or another. the weed is his coping mechanism.

    Song Meaning

This song is DEFINITELY about weed . Brown sugar --> meaning a swisher sweet (the body is brown . Sugar=Sweet)

See we been makin' love constantly That's why my eyes are a shade Blood burgandy --> When you smoke weed your eyes turn bloodshot red .

The way that we kiss is unlike any other way That I be kissin' when I'm kissin' what I'm missin' Won't you listen --> The way he kiss (smokes) the blunt is UNLIKE any other way that he kisses, when he kisses what he misses (actual woman) . Its a difference from the way he smoke to the way he actually kisses..

Brown Sugar babe, I gets high off your love I don't know how to behave --> Basically self explanatory, if you understand anything about getting high .

And whenever you let me hit it, Sweet like the honey when it comes to me. --> 'Hit it' hit the blunt , or the 'sweet' .

Skin is caramel with the cocoa eyes Even got a big sister by the name of Chocolate Thai --> Up until this point i may not have convinced you . But Chocolate Thai is a form of Cannibus or WEED .

Explaining the rest of the song from here on out is quite pointless . Point made .

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
