Take a photograph and settle down
To endure not as hard as it looks
Better not to burn those books
You're not travelling on a beam of light

You're not sitting around under house arrest until you change your mind
Not a blink, not a breath, not a sign, not a sign, not a sign
Not a sign
Take a photograph to remind you

Of the things you know you will one day forget
Take a side effect as a measure of your progress
Take what you give and give what you take
And as you walk with your breath two feet in front of you in the cold

Take a photograph, to have and to hold
Take a photograph, to have and to hold
Take a photograph

General Commenti think this song is about what most people think it is about. Memories....getting those memories and putting them in your mind keeping them so that oneday when you are alone you can think back to good times and remember than life isnt as cold as it seems. and also about how life isnt as hard as it looks either.
