I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
I have this dream to stand on top a mountain.
To spread my wings and let the wind steal me.
That way I'll be weightless and free,
And that way no one can tell me,
That I'm only a little girl,
With dreams as big as the world,
And they will never come true.
But if I fly,
Fly above the rain,
To a place where there's no pain,
And no one holds me down.
I can fly,
And show them that they're wrong.
Will you hold me in your arms,
If high enough I fly... away.
I have this wish to dance around the stars.
To be so high up that I can't barely breathe.
But this way I'll be weightless and free,
And this way no one can tell me,
That I'm only a little girl,
With dreams as big as the world,
And they will never come true.
I'll fly until I hear your words,
I'll fly until my song is heard.
Don't dare tell me that I'm not good enough,
Cause he told me I was,
He told me I was.
To spread my wings and let the wind steal me.
That way I'll be weightless and free,
And that way no one can tell me,
That I'm only a little girl,
With dreams as big as the world,
And they will never come true.
But if I fly,
Fly above the rain,
To a place where there's no pain,
And no one holds me down.
I can fly,
And show them that they're wrong.
Will you hold me in your arms,
If high enough I fly... away.
I have this wish to dance around the stars.
To be so high up that I can't barely breathe.
But this way I'll be weightless and free,
And this way no one can tell me,
That I'm only a little girl,
With dreams as big as the world,
And they will never come true.
I'll fly until I hear your words,
I'll fly until my song is heard.
Don't dare tell me that I'm not good enough,
Cause he told me I was,
He told me I was.
