"Want to Be Bad" as written by and Tegan Quin Sara Quin....
Your crowbar swung
Through the, the restaurant
More like a pub
Yeah we, we drank a lot

Don't get in
Over your head
I just want to be bad
Oh oh alright

I just want to be bad
Oh oh alright
You're so tragedy
And you were hard on me

You're so tragedy
And you were hard on me
You might be dead
But it's hard to know

The night turns in
But you all go
Don't get in
Over your head

I just want to be bad
Oh oh alright
I just want to be bad
Oh oh alright

You're so tragedy
And you were hard on me
You're so tragedy
And you were hard on me

Then morning came
(Then morning came)
We're in this together
And then morning came

(Then morning came)
We're in this together
I don't care how far we go
What's the matter?

What's the matter?
I just want to be bad
Oh oh alright
I just want to be bad

Oh oh alright
You're so tragedy
And you were hard on me
You're so tragedy

And you were hard on me

    General Commenti love this song.
it's pretty dang relatable, and the meaning is pretty clear.

    "then morning came
    we're in this together
I don't care how far we go
    what's the matter
    what's the matter
I just want to be bad"

    yep, love it. :]

General CommentIt sounds just like, wanting to have sex without a commitment, to me. Haha. Sorry to give it a bad context. Amazing song.

General CommentI think it's about how someone broke up with some-other-one and she dragged his best guy-friend to a random bar or pub and they got drunk from all the alcoholic beverage they drank. So they finished in bed, but she tries to explain that they were Just friends and it just seemed like a good oppurtunity to show, that she's over it.

General CommentWell um actually. "He" wouldn't be a he. Both Tegan and Sara are openly gay.

But yeah, love the song. She can be bad anytime...

General Commentto me i kinda read into this song being abit about looking back on times partying with ur best friend, ya know like how ya both get really messy or high together and ur having a blast and nothing can bring ya down and u start doing things u wouldnt normally do and getting abit wild and a wee bit troublesome and cheeky all the way into the early hours
"i dont care how far we go"
    "the night turns in
    but you're all go, go"

    and - "don't get in
    over your head
I just want to be bad"
is like dont over do it, dont get into any serious drug habbits or what eva just once in awhile break loose and experiment and have fun

    and "you're so tragedy
and you were hard on me "
is kinda of how ya feel when u start coming down or start to feel hung over how ya get seedy and abit unhappy like lifes so "tragic" lol its kinda of a laugh at that part too tho so over dramtic about feelings

not that i at all think tegan and sara are PRO drug or anything like that but we all from time to time rebel abit and have fun with our friends and sometimes break the rules and thats more what i see in this song :)

    its a great song!!!
