I still feel the same
Though everything has changed
The pain it cost now I feel lost inside of my own name
But I keep running
I am running
I keep living for the day that I'm with you
That I'm with you

The past has left its stain
Now I feel the shame
I'll seize the day if you take away the chains of yesterday
But I keep running
I am running
I keep living for the day that I'm with you

And I am waiting
I am waiting
I keep waiting for the day that I'm with you

A new day the sun is shining
Seems I'm closer to finding
That life is more than what we hide
No way that I am turning
As long as the sun is burning
Now it seems that all I want is you

I still feel the same
Though everything has changed
The pain it costs now I feel lost inside of my own name

But I keep running
I am running
I keep living for the day that I'm with you

And I am waiting
I am waiting
I keep waiting for the day that I'm with you
That I'm with you

"the past has left its stain, now I feel the shame. I'll seize the day if You take away the chains of yesterday." I like that part because he's telling God that his past and his shame hold him back, and keep him in bondage. he tells God if He will take away these chains, he'll seize the day and take the freedom that God offers. I like this song because as a Christian I've had to deal a lot with the "chains of yesterday". I've messed up a lot in the past, and I feel like I pay the consequences for it all the time. But that's why God's grace is so awesome. Because I could never do anything to deserve that much love. I'm the least worthy person on the planet for redemption, but it's not about being worthy. that's what's so awesome. while we were still sinners, Jesus loved us so much that He would die for us. He died for everyone. Even those people that spit His name out on the sidewalk... there's no reason or explanation in it except that it's by total grace that we've been saved. I can't NOT have reverence for that. And I'll keep living for the day that I'm with Him.

i think this song is a view from a man who is looking back on a past relationship and wishing that they could give it another go. He is saying that if u take away the chains of yesterday (the problems that caused them to break up) then he would be more than willing to give it another go. He is saying in the chorus that since they've been apart all he's been trying to do is get back together because he has still got feelings for this girl even though they had problems which cause them to split up in the first place. " a new day the sun is shining, seems im closer to finding........it seems that all i want is you" i think that means that its a new a day and that they should forget about the past cause he wants her back! i think the best part of this song is " no way that i am turning, along as the sun is burning, now it seems all i want is you" he is saying that as long as our feelings are still there then she is the only one he wants and that he will never walk away as long as there still there! another amazing lifehouse song!

This has got to be Lifehouse's best song.

They should sent this as a single. It would blown up on radio, and been a huge hit. Instead they released Spin and this album failed commercially.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
