If I had another week, I'd take a flight down to Jamaica or
catch a clipper off the coast of Maine. I might even sail all
the way across the ocean and buy some leather boots when
I got to Spain. But then again, I might decide to take a train
to California and find my way to the shade of the Big Trees. Have a glass of wine, write a song among the pines, then head out to the sweet Pacific breeze that is, if I had another week. But if I had another day, I\'d take a drive up to the mountains and have a picnic with my kids and with my wife. I\'d hike the hidden trails, tell a few tall tales about the crazy moments of my life. But then again, I might decide to take a raft on down the river and pitch a tent upon the western shore. Sing around the fire until we all got tired, then talk about what we\'re here for that is, if I had another day. But if I had another hour, I\'d make a pot of coffee, then drink it nice and slow in my back yard. Watch the red sun set, and try to just forget the fact that this life can be so hard. But then again, I might decide to write a letter to my family and then write a few more to my friends. I\'d thank them for their love, and say I loved them, too, and remind them that true love never ends that is, if I had another hour. But if I had another minute, I\'d put my arms around my baby, and I\'d hold her like I\'d never done before. I\'d tell her not to worry; I\'d tell her I\'d be waiting when her turn came to knock on heaven\'s door. But then again, I might decide to fall down on my knees and thank God for the life I\'ve loved so dear. I\'d ask Him to send peace to each of us, as long as we are here that\'s if I had another minute. But if I had another second...

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
