Wow, again, GREAT song! Another song that hits ya hard behind a nice beat. They have a way of hiding PAIN and other hard issues in life behind foot tapping beats. They do this better than anyone in the business and second only to Bob Marley, IMO. Anyway, this song is obviously just about two people going seperate ways. its obviously his fault since he is apologizing for his anger in the first line.

Love that twangy guitar! Love "Such a Mess" lyric! Love that off-beat drumming on "Okay"! It seems to be about apologizing to his mood swings. Overall, the Walkmen remind me of Interpol.

contrary to danny, i think that he's telling her that it's fine to leave. when they fight, anger gets pulled out of him and from her. it pounds him into the ground and its rough. he's pooped. so she's fed up and wants to leave, well he's tired too. and all of it's a shame b/c he knows it could've been good, but she sucks too much to make it happen and work.

the main guitar is great, but what about that sparkly gut piercing accent sound that plays and swells in the juiciest moment right after the singing is done? what is that, a guitar? bells? bell sounds from a keyboard? it's driving me nuts. i must know.
