Everything's so blurry
And everyone's so fake
And everybody's empty
And everything is so messed up
Pre-occupied without you
I cannot live at all
My whole world surrounds you
I stumble then I crawl

You could be my someone
You could be my scene
You know that I'll protect you
From all of the obscene
I wonder what you're doing
Imagine where you are
There's oceans in between us
But that's not very far

Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me
Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face

Everyone is changing
There's none left that's real
To make up your own ending
And let me know just how you feel
'Cause I am lost without you
I cannot live at all
My whole world surrounds you
I stumble then I crawl

You could be my someone
You could be my scene
You know that I will save you
From all of the unclean
I wonder what you're doing
I wonder where you are
There's oceans in between us
But that's not very far

Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me
Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me

Nobody told me what you thought
Nobody told me what to say
Everyone showed you where to turn
Told you when to runaway
Nobody told you where to hide
Nobody told you what to say
Everyone showed you where to turn
Showed you when to runaway

Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me
Can you take it all away?
Can you take it all away?
Well ya shoved it in my face
This pain you gave to me

This pain you gave to me
This pain you gave to me

Take it all
Take it all away
This pain you gave to me
Take it all away
This pain you gave to me
Take it all away
This pain you gave to me

    Song Meaning

The video his actual son is featured. It is about his desire to be a good dad as you can see. I guess he and his wife were separated/ divorced. And in the video it shows her new BF being a real... well jerk. And I think the bridge is saying "I will protect you son no matter where you are." I shall analyse as to what I think lol.

"You could be my someone You could be my scene"- You can be my pride and joy "You know that I'll protect you From all of the obscene"- I will protect you from any dismay (as you see in the video the fights) "I wonder what your doing Imagine where you are"- I wonder if you are ok "There's oceans in between us But that's not very far"- If you are in trouble I will be there to comfort you.

Understand thats only MY interpretation. But I think it is somewhat close. But even though this song IS about his son there is no doubt. I had heard that from a reliable source.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
