"Big City Train" as written by and Gwen Renee Stefani Eric Matthew Stefani....
Can you hear that whistle
Loud clackety clack
But it's calling to me
The station is where it's at
It's coming again now
Chuggin' down that track
Just check your records
Got all my bags packed

You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
Come get me take me
To the land where my dreams come true
You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
Come get me take me
To the land where my dreams come true

The time I'll board that train
It won't be long
Check the label on my baggage
Destination in my song
I'll talk to the conductor, ooh
I've saved up my fare
Yakety-yak for a while

You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
Come get me, take me,
To the land where dreams come true
A-always find me waiting for that train to come
Come get me,
Come take me
You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
I said come get me, take me to the land
Where the dreams come true and then

Oh I'm waiting
Oh I'm waiting
Come get me, come get me, to the land where my dreams come

Smokes down
?
Then smash it down

?

Hurry grab my luggage
Hurry grab my bags
It seems the locomotive
Has been taken another track
A penny brought on by mischief
A penny, form of cash
Has been brought up to the railway
We are destined to be a smash!
A smash

You will always find me waiting for that train to come through
Come get me, take me,
To the land where your dreams come true
You'll always find me waiting for that train to come
Come get me,
Come take me
You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
?

I'm waiting for it to show
A-na-na-na-na-na-na-oh-wh-wh-woah

You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
Come et me,
Come take me
You'll always find me waiting for that train to come through
I said come get me, take me to the land
Where your dreams come true, I said

You're gonna always find me
Oh gonna always find me

I said

Oh, oh, hoh

? yeah

Ah, gonna always find me
Find you

General CommentI'd say they want to get out of the small town and hit it big. (Hence the line "come abd take me where my dreams come true.") Very cool song.

General Commenti love this song... i love this whole cd! and all of no doubts other stuff besides rock steady... but anyway! im in an acting class and we needed to bring in music to reflect our characters, and i brought this song. the girl's dad died when she was young, and she wants to be in a broadway show but her uncle won't let her audition. This song seemed perfect for her.

General CommentThey apparently have an animated video for his song. It was only given exclusively to close friends and family. If anyone has seen it (lucky) send a link.

General Commentyes, I also think it's about their train to fame, which eventually did take them ... I think much further than they ever wished for.
it's such a cool song.I would definitely love to see that animated video.
