"Unforgiven" as written by Mark Tremonti and Scott Stapp....
I kept up with the prophecy you spoke
I kept up with the message inside
Lost sight of the Irony of twisted faith
Lost sight of my soul and it's void

Think I, Think I'm unforgiven to this world
Think I, Think I'm unforgiven to this world
Think I'm Unforgiven
Took a chance at deceiving myself
To share in the consequence of lies
Childish with my reasoning and pride
Godless to the extent that I died

Step inside the light and see the fear of God burn inside of me
The gold was put to flame to kill to burn to mold it's purity

General CommentI didn't like this song too much at first, but once I looked at the lyrics, a thought it was excellent.

General CommentThis song is about Scott Stapp coming to terms with the realization that 'Jesus' will NOT be happy when he finds out that Scott has been impersonating him just to get chicks(who don't even come anyway).

He's basically saying, "Hey Jesus, I've been a follower for so long that now I feel I AM you but I know you won't be happy, but this is how I feel."

    Its so deep and beautiful.
