You simply defy
I cannot even look to the sky
We try it single filed
Take on me, and it's my denial
I cannot ever find
something safe, not done on the fly.
I cannot live this way
Floor and me will kick the P.A.

You wanna play with me
I'm really gonna rock your world
You want to comfort me
I'm gonna rock your world

You say everything is fine
I cannot compete with the skies
My sing has crossed the line
Come in me, I fly through the sky
I can not ever find
You and me will make all the lines
Oh, if they could see the plague,
no one would want to be me.

You wanna play with me
I'm really gonna rock your world
You wanna comfort me
I'm gonna rock your world

So I fly
Take me
I cannot fly
Most people hate me
To fly away from this pain

Please take away, please take away my P.A.

It's Kick the Pain Attacks. JD has said it himself that P.A. stands for Pain attacks.

"This song is about people who think that they feel jon's pain and can relate to it. they think they know what he's going through but they dont. so many people say to Jon, i wish i could be you or i wish i could be like you which kinda pisses him off sometimes. they dont seem to understand what he has had to go through in his life to have the emotions that make him a great singer. he doesnt want any of it. he'd give up his career to make it all go away. -David" i go this from a interview in a magazine.

Johnathan davis is a fucked up dude....hes on anti depressants. and anyone whose been there knows that anxiety is a big factor of that. So that being said, i always took the meaning P.A. as "PERFORMANCE ANXIETY". sort of a hidin meaning in the song. also anxiety as anyone should know is a form of pain that he wants to be taken away as stated in the song Most performers have to deal with this in one way or the other. thats why theyre usually fucked up on drugs or alcohal.

It's clearly not a typo. I'm not positive on what it's about, but I personally believe that it's Parental Advisory because of the lyrics "I cannot ever find something safe my tongue on the fly./I cannot live this way" As in, he can never say the right things so they block it. That's just my personal opinion. It could be an amp and it could also be Pain Addiction/Attack, because it reads "To fly away from this pain." All I'm saying is, this song could be about many things. I think that music is like poetry, you can relate to it in your own way.

I think this is about a couple things...if you know Davis he's slick at hinting shit. Yea hes prolly talking about taking away his mic, and hinting that sometimes he really wish he did quit singing. But what mantus quoted from was that Jon is also hinting "hey fuck you for wanting to be me, you dont really know the extent of my past to say something so ignorant" so I believe him. We only find out about it through...well...pretty much the whole KORN album, and songs like "Pretty" which to those of you who didnt know its about an infant he had seen while working for a morgue and it was really messed up. But anyways Im trying to say a lot of Davis' songs are 'read between the lines' type of shit or interpret want you want. KORN RULES Peace

I think is stands for panic attack:

"The video opens with Davis recalling, “It was the most horrible thing — I remember when I got my first panic attack, I thought I was gonna die.” The rocker recounts how he was drinking heavily and very much into drugs at the time and it led him down a very dark path. “I started getting really paranoid thinking medicine was bad for me and stuff like that. I wouldn’t take any kinds of meds and I actually turned schizophrenic for a while,” says the singer." loudwire.com/korn-jonathan-davis-depression-anxiety/

    Atmosphere - Panic Attack (The P.A.) genius.com/Atmosphere-panic-attack-the-pa-lyrics

"That one of the worst PA’s I has ever had I would say I went into shock." quora.com/Can-panic-attak-cause-paralysis

You will find additional sources, where panic attacks are referred to as PA. Especially among patients who suffer from this symptom.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
