Nothing can harm me at all
My worries seem so very small
With my waterfall
I can see
My rainbow calling me
Through the misty breeze
Of my waterfall
Some people say
Day-dreamings for all the, huh,
Lazy minded fools
With nothin' else to do
So let them laugh, laugh at me
So just as long as I have you
To see me through
I have nothing to lose
'Long as I have you
Don't ever change your ways
Fall with me for a million days
Oh, my waterfall

General Commentwhether jimi wrote this about drugs or not, this is one of the most pure love songs out there, imho. the lyrics are short and don't try to take the metaphor too far. the music itself is . . . jimi effing hendrix. it's beautiful. sometimes i go to sleep to this song, i put the song on repeat and just drift off to this wonderful piece of rock artistry.

General Commenti love the rolling, waterfall-like drums. the guitar solo is just so dreamy and spaced out. the whole song is just amazing.

General CommentI read somewhere that when Dee Dee Ramone wanted to escape from all the choas and madness around him he would shoot up and sit under the sink with a blanket on it and let the water run and sit under it so he could pretend he was under a waterfall. This song reminds of that.

General CommentThis is just about Jimi saying that he has a guard a protection and shield from the bullshit of life. It's the waterfall that can shield out all the bullshit of an inauthentic life...the inauthentic life. He is safe...safe from life's bullshit and within there is love. That's all as far as I can see. It's fucking beautiful.

General CommentI love this song and named my guitar 'Waterfall' after it. Its lyrically masterful in that you can take from it what you want.

General Commenteff you buddy, its not a pity jimi wrote what he did. if you dont like what he wrote thats too bad, you cant change it and jimi's the genius here not you. its okay though keep trying to analyze his songs because im sure you know exactly what he was thinking as he wrote them. there are worse things out there than drugs, but thats beyond the point.

General CommentShut the "eff" up, man. Did you even read any of my post other than the part about drugs? I doubt it. He obviously *was* falling, and if you can't see that, you're self-blinded. "That's beyond the point" huh? Then why don't you say what the freakin' point is? Or would you prefer to insult my comments?

You might notice I ***DID*** say what I thought the point was. The drugs bit *WASN'T* the point of my post.

Sorry about the tone of that post, but I just can't stand idiotic BS. It's getting late, peace.
