I'm not ready for this
Though, I thought I would be
I can't see the future
Though, I thought I could see
I don't want to leave you
Even though I have to
I don't want to love you
Oh, I still do
Need some time to find myself
I wanna live within'
Can I go my own way?
Can I pray my own way?
I don't want to leave you
Oh, I need you
Am I ready for this?
Did I think I would be?
Can I see the future?
No, I can't see
I don't want to leave you
Even though I have to
I don't want to love you
Oh, I still do
Ah-ha-ha-ha
La-la-da-da-da
Ah-ha-ha-ha
I still do
Ah-ha-ha-ha
La-la-da-da-da
Ah-ha-ha-ha
I still do

"Need some time to find myself. I wanna live within. " She loves him and can't tear herself away but she knows she has to... in order to prove to herself that she can and in order to get some space to spend time with herself and do all of that soul-searching stuff. She has to find herself and know she is capable of standing on her own two feet without him.

The way I interpret it, she promised herself to someone and then later found herself growing as a person in a new direction, and growing apart from the other. So even though she loves this person, she has to leave in order to find herself.

I think she had a long steady relationship that was getting boring, so she started going out with someone else without any expectations, but she go too involved. “I’m not ready for this Though I thought I would be” Then, she gets mixed feelings and she want to return to the long “safe” relationship, because she doesn’t see a future with the new affair (or is scared about feeling so much). “I can’t see the future Though I thought I could see.” The only way to give a new try to the old relationship is leaving the new guy. “”I don’t want to leave you Even though I have to.” Then even more mixed feelings. Old one? New one? Should/can I be by myself? “I don’t want to love you.” [so she can go back and be okay with the old guy] “Oh I still do” [she wants to be with the new guy, but doesn’t have the balls to leave the old relationship and start a new one with this guy, even though she feels a lot more for the new one] “Need some time to find myself” [third option and probably the best one] So I think this song is about mixed feelings and a confused girl that wants to have the best from both worlds.

The first song on Everybody Else... Powerfully haunting song. The character is questioning her relationship and whether she still loves her partner...and she still does.

When We Were Young

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.

Another Love
Tom Odell
I think the meaning is pretty clear. This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. It's lovely song, and very sad. You can really feel how defeated and frustrated he is with himself.

Zombie
Cranberries, The
"Zombie" is about the ethno-political conflict in Ireland. This is obvious if you know anything of the singer (Dolores O'Riordan)'s Irish heritage and understood the "1916" Easter Rising reference. "Another head hangs lowly Child is slowly taken And the violence caused such silence Who are we mistaken - Another mother's breaking Heart is taking over" Laments the Warrington bomb attacks in which two children were fatally injured on March 23rd, 1993. Twelve year old Tim Parry was taken off life support with permission from his mother after five days in the hospital, virtually braindead. "But you see it's not me It's not my family" References how people who are not directly involved with the violence feel about it. They are "zombies" without sympathy who refuse to take action while others suffer.

Sunglasses at Night
Corey Hart
In the 1980s, sunglasses were a common fashion for people who wanted to adopt a "tough guy" persona (note all the cop shows from that era -- Simon & Simon, Miami Vice, etc. -- where the lead characters wore shades). So I think this song is about a guy who wears shades as a way of hiding his insecurity after learning that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He's trying to pretend that he's a "tough guy" to hide the fact that his girlfriend's affair is disturbing him.
