Ah, ah, ah
Come on

Pleased to meet you
Nice to know me
What's the message?
Will ya show me?

I've been waiting
A long time now
Now here's the answer
You're all mine now

Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl
Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl now

Pleased to meet you
Nice to know me
What's the message?
Will ya show me?

I've been waiting
A long time, now
Now here's the answer
You're all mine now

Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl
Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl now

Will you follow me down now, down now?
Will you follow me down now, down now?
Will you follow me down? Go

Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl
Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl now
Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl
Yeah, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl now

Pleased to meet you
Nice to know me
What's the message?
Will ya show me the way?

General CommentI think the song is about sex as are a good number of STP's songs. "I've been waiting for my Sunday girl," has anyone ever heard the following expression? I'd do her six ways from Sunday. This is clearly what Weiland means when refering to his Sunday girl. The song is about waiting a long time to meet that one girl that will turn your world upside down.

General Commenti think its a view point of scotts heroin additction talking. "Pleased to meet you scott, im glad you got to know me" Scott replies with "can u show me a meaning in life" the answer being "your suppose to be a addicted to me, so get out the needles!" this whole time heroin was just looking for a someone to drain away, and scott is its victum

General CommentCome on guys, this song is not about sex at all...

This is song is about marriage proposal and the girl saying yes, "You're all mine now". He gives her very high regards and compares her to holy Sunday and been awaiting this day for a long time, "Ya, I've been waiting for my Sunday girl".
He is also asking her if she loves him as much as he loves her and is will to do anything for him, "Will you follow me down now, down now". What do ya think.

General CommentI really tried to figure out the meaning to this song, but I guess it can be anyone's point of view on it, I agree it could be about marriage, with the sunday girl thing, your all mine now. Plus it could be about drugs too, who knows with scott. to me this song got on my nerves a bit, a little too repeative, but it does rock though
