I wish i was a girl so i would see more tits
I wish I could jack by dipping in a pit
I only have a dick that's quite hairy
My ass is too, that's kinda scary

"I wish I was a girl"
"I wish I was a girl"

I don't care about the blood, I don't care about the pain
Cause being a girl's the only thing that's on my brain
Being a guy can be really boring
And cross-dressing just isn't my thing

[Chorus]
Some people think I might be gay
But I don't swing the other way
I just want to be a girl so damn much
To feel my clit as it gets

But if I was a girl I couldn't drive no more
Cause I couldn't tell the difference between the clutch and the door
I'd get mood swings and I'd have to shave my pits
But I wouldn't really care 'cause I would have massive tits
I wouldn't have to put up with erections all the time
I'd get a better job when performing 69
Cause being a girl would be so cool
Cause when you cum you don't leave a pool

[Chorus: x2]

Mother!

[Repeat: x11]
Why wasn't I a girl

Why!!!

[Chorus: x3]

Just some two cents from someone actually with gender identity disorder. I like this song, I suppose some people may find it offensive. It's very tongue and cheek but it sounds like the author has some understanding of what it's like "Being an girl is the only thing that's on my brain" yes that's very true, it's all you ever think, feel and dream about...

"Some people think I might be gay" yes people tend to assume you are gay rather than clock on to the fact that you are the wrong gender.

Lastly, the intense anger expressed in the last verse "Mother, why wasn't I a girl!" that's how you feel too. I don't feel angry at my mother though, I do feel anger at life. Anyway, since this song was released when I was a teenager, i'm pretty sure it was around before "scene kids" and this isn't actually emo/scene music it is punk rock, so whatever...

I think it's just pointing out things that suck about being male or female. This song is hilarious even though I think the whole "men are this women are that" thing is bullshit.

I hate this song so much. i just came on here to express my views about it as everyone in the world likes it and nobody'll find it here. it's just such a SHIT song, it overuseses sexual innuendo so much it makes me sick. there is no craftsmanship gone into it at all. ihatehatehatehatehate it. ARHHHHHHHH I HATE IT! It's so shit and all the little 'scene kidzz' [99.8% of which aren't even scene] love it, cos they can just stand there swaying slightly from side to side, head down, muttering the words, and pass it off as dancing, and be like 'oh i am such a hardcore rebel', put it as their myspace profile song, post many bulletins about how cool they are, and then turn the sound down when viewing their own profile so their mum doesn't hear it, so they don't get grounded which means they can't go and skank around in town smoking and trying to nick drink off all their 'big mates' and think they look cool. ok so yeah. it was a long rant. WELL DONE! i spose all the scene keets are gonna go die now, or something. it's a cunt's song for cunts who want to look cool in front of their cunt friends. and contrary to popular belief, no i am not 67. i'm actually 14. i just hate shit music...i'll shut up now..

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
