If gravity let us go
We would all go flying
And I'll meet you somewhere in the milky night
Away past the satellites

The breeze is dressed so lightly
And it breathes onto this fire escape
Where all our secrets melt like ice
Leaving only water

Night will close us down
And change the view
And I'll promise you what I can
I forget myself when I'm with you

Please remind me who I am
Dancing like a landslide
Swinging round the living room
We fall like sudden rain from sullen skies

Singing to the radio's tune
Say my name aloud
And make it new
And I'll promise you what I can

I forget myself when I'm with you
Please remind me who I am
Day so soon, hear all the traffic move
The sirens all fill this room till we both have to shout

From the road, watching the stars explode
You and I breathe so slow
How strange the sound

This is a lovely song :)

I believe Bic is describing a night with a lover, dancing in the living room, singing to the radio etc. They feel as if they are the only two ones in the world, as it is night and everyone else is quiet, gone to sleep. They feel that they are flying, as if gravity has let them go.

Bic claims that she knows that night will eventually end but she promises this man that she will try to stay with him and keep their love the same even after the night has ended. She even says that she forgets her name when she is with him, showing how affected she is.

The final stanza refers to dawn and the sun rising. The traffic of the people and the world starts a new day and the lovers can hear it as the watch the stars explode/dissapear. They have to shout because the sound is so loud compared to the silent night. The sounds are strange and unfamiliar because they both feel so at ease during the night.

I really love this song :) I think this is what it is about.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
