Too much of heaven,
Can bring you underground
Heaven, can always turn around.
Too much of heaven,
A life and soul hell bound.
Heaven, the killer makes no sound.
They're still talking about money,
That's right and too much of heaven.
C'mon my friend.
Let me tell you what it's all about,
It's called money dependence today,
And people just keep on going on
Looking at the dollar bill,
And nothing else around them.
No love, no friendship, nothing else,
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket,
Into their account,
And that's too much of heaven
Bringing them underground.
Let me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today,
And people just keep on going on
Looking at the dollar bill,
And nothing else around them.
No love, no friendship, nothing else,
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket,
Into their account,
The answer,
Is blowing in the wind.
The answer is blowing.
Oh let me tell you what it's all about.
Too much of heaven bring you underground
Can bring you underground
Heaven, can always turn around.
Too much of heaven,
A life and soul hell bound.
Heaven, the killer makes no sound.
They're still talking about money,
That's right and too much of heaven.
C'mon my friend.
Let me tell you what it's all about,
It's called money dependence today,
And people just keep on going on
Looking at the dollar bill,
And nothing else around them.
No love, no friendship, nothing else,
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket,
Into their account,
And that's too much of heaven
Bringing them underground.
Let me tell you what it's all about
It's called money dependence today,
And people just keep on going on
Looking at the dollar bill,
And nothing else around them.
No love, no friendship, nothing else,
Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket,
Into their account,
The answer,
Is blowing in the wind.
The answer is blowing.
Oh let me tell you what it's all about.
Too much of heaven bring you underground

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Blue
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
I can't believe that this song only has 6 posts on it. I guess it's because Eiffel 65 isn't too overly popular by people these days, but I sure love them and I think this is one of their greatest songs. Too many people are greedy and only think about themselves. People need to stop and smell the roses. Pay attention to the world around them and do good. Build friendships with others. Spread the love. Stop thinking so much about yourself and focus on others. Now, heaven in this instance refers to worldly pleasure and not actually heaven. Too much worldly pleasure will bring us down and destroy our lives. Great song.
i love this song b/c it just sends out the message that money isnt everything. money will just bring you down if thats what its all about.
This song is such a profound insight into the sins of modern living, and should be heard by all.
my goodness, i love this song. i really don't think about its meaning, but my brother and i can both sing every word at the top of our lungs. its loads of fun really.
i love the irony in this song :D
This is by far my favorite song by them. As for the meaning, it's pretty obvious, I agree with everyone else about it saying pretty that money isn't everything and it can taken away in an instant.
love the ty poas :D
I'm pretty sure the lyrics are "money dependence" not "money dependents"
