Got The Time Lyrics
Through Now, Got Another Man to See
Gotta Call Him on the Telephone Ay-o
Gotta Find a Piece of Paper
Sit Down, Got Another Letter to Write,
Think Hard, Gotta Get a Letter Just Right
Little Ringin' on the Telephone Oh No,
Gotta Write Another Letter
All We Want
Two, Three, Go!
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Tickin' in My Head, Tickin' in My Head, Tickin' in My Head
Will You, Shut up and Get out of My Way
Someone Ask Me What the Time Is, I Don't Know
Only Know I Gotta Go Now
No Time, Tryin' Ta Get a Watch Repaired
No Time, Never Got a Thing to Wear
Little Ringin' on the Telephone
Oh No, Hear a Ringin' in My Head Now
All We Want
Two, Three, Go!
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Time, Got the Time Tick Tick Tickin' in My Head
Tickin' in My Head, Tickin' in My Head
Tickin' in My Head!

This is an excellent cover of an already superb track by Mr. Joe Jackson.
I loved the original and I love this version.

One of coolest bass solos ever.

Soooooooo powerfullll aaaaaaaaaa

Time - and trying to rush through life from one thing to the next is a subject Anthrax covered quite a bit. Interesting side note to the song - Dan Spitz (guitar) "retired" from Anthrax in 1995 to become a watch maker. Note the lyric from the 2nd verse "No time, tryin' ta get a watch repaired." Ironic?

These are the lyrics for “Got the time” that Anthrax covered on the same album, sot the song Time.

A punk song by a thrash band? WTF.
Punk music is a pretty big influence on thrash and speed metal, so I don't see what's so strange about it. Megadeth has done a couple of covers of Sex Pistols songs and FFF. Slayer has covered some punk songs and so has Metalica.
