"Baby Mine (Disney's Dumbo)" as written by and Bill Henderson....
Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part
Baby of mine

Little one, when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear
Baby of mine

From your head to your toes (Baby mine)
You're so sweet, goodness knows (Baby mine)
You are so precious to me
Cute as can be
Baby of mine

Baby mine
Baby mine

General CommentThis part of Dumbo always used to make me cry when I was little. The part where he's crying while his mother is holding him as she's locked up in her jail cell and you see all the other mothers cuddling with their babies. :*( It's so sweet.

General Commenti have recently miscarried. i seem to hear this song everywhere now, as well as everywhere i turn seeing babies and toddlers.

it always turns my thoughts to the child that never was.
