Went to a party just last night
Knew it was wrong, but it felt so right
She was standing there with her short skirt
Looked up at me and started to flirt
We got to talk, had nothing to say
I still hoped that things would go my way
I knew I had not time to waste
Right then I wondered what lies it would take

Took off my clothes, hopped into bed
Then I started to wish that I was dead
Tried my hardest to stop or fight
That bitch would not shut up all night

I think we made a mistake
Well its alright
I didnt like you that much anyway, yeah
Who knew that we'd go all day
And all night
Well now its over
Now that we're through
There's no more to do

Both woke up about 10AM
Thought we we're through, then we started again
Thinkin' of good times we just had
Maybe last night was not so bad
But then she started up again
That mindless talk, it had no end
So I got up from the bed
Looked up at her, this is what I said

I think we made a mistake
Well its alright
I didnt like you that much anyway, yeah
Who knew that we'd go all day
And all night
Well now its over
Now that we're through
There's no more to do

No way, yeah-ee-yeah
No way, yeah-ee-yeah
No way, yeah-ee-yeah
No way, yeah-ee-yeah

I think we made a mistake
Well its alright
I didnt like you that much anyway, yeah
Who knew that we'd go all day
And all night
Well now its over
Now that we're through
There's no more to do
No way

Wretched? What are talking about. Its different, but its still damn good. And it even has some of the old school ska that wasn't on Why Do They Rock So Hard.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
